Our camping trip to big bear/forest falls California! Pictures of waterfalls; and all the beautiful scenery.
Trip started July 30th to August 1st 2013, My friend and I have never been hiking before but I remembered this area and the last time I was there was 20 years ago. I’ve been dying to go back to see there huge and appealing waterfalls coming from big bear mountain.
The falls themselves run down from the mountain, in specific ravines. It is the run off from the snow that big bear gets through-out the year. I am some what familiar with the area up there, having been there as a child, but I did not remember the tough hiking! We completed one trail called “Big Falls Trail” it was very tough but it does not have any water falls this time of year! “Vivian Creek Trail” which which is their long 8.9 mile trail, leading up to there largest waterfall.
I’ll post pictures and a timeline on the main page!
